22 Weeks!

As you can see by the picture, Winnie can't wait for her new playmate to come!

About a week ago I started to feel the baby move! For me it started as a subtle tapping on my lower tummy and each day has gotten stronger. She is very active and hasn't stopped dancing around since I began to feel her.... I always knew my daughter would be a dancer : ) I can't wait for her kicks to be strong enough for Justin to feel!

19 weeks tomorrow!

3 years!

I can't even believe that it was 3 years ago that Justin and I were married. It often feels like it was just yesterday! We had a wonderful 3rd anniversary, celebrating twice! A couple weeks ago we spent a few days in Aptos at Seascape (where were married) and yesterday we had a wonderful dinner at our favorite restaurant in Brentwood. Justin is such an amazing husband and is going to be an amazing father! I can't wait for the many anniversaries to come! Happy anniversary babe..I love you!!

WE'RE HAVING A.....

.....GIRL!!!!!!

We are so excited to be having a girl and can't wait to welcome our little princess into the world. We invited both of our moms to come with us to the 3D gender appt. since it is the only appt. that anyone other than the mom and dad can attend. We thought it would be very special for them to join us since we had been talking about how amazing the 3D ultrasounds were! She is already such an active little girl waiving, kicking and opening and closing her mouth for us! I can't wait for the kicks to be strong enough for me to feel! : ) Below are some pictures from our appt.

12 Week Appointment

We had two Drs. apts last Thursday and both went really well! We had ultrasounds at both appts and were able to hear the heartbeat 163 bpm (which were told is perfect). We were also able to see the two hemispheres of the brain, the heartbeat and Baby Andrews' chilling with his/her hands behind his/her head. We were amazed how much our little baby at 2.5 inches looks like a baby.

We found out that we were pregnant on June 23^rd and that will forever be a day that is very special to us!....well for a couple of reasons. First, I think it was the most shocked, excited, surprised, scared, happy and blessed we had ever felt before.....and all of those emotions at once! It is such a surreal experience to have you both hovering over the little test sick waiting to see what your future holds. I swear the 30 seconds it takes for the digital test to think feels like 30 minutes and when it actually popped up PREGNANT all of those feelings stated above shoot through your body like electricity! All of you moms and dads out there know exactly what I’m talking about! Our best friend Steve will also help us remember that day as it was his birthday and he was one of the first people we thought about when we found out the good news because we were two weeks away from our Jamaican vacation with him and Chelsea.....How were we going to tell them!?! J

We had our first Drs. Apt on July 11^th, the evening before we left to Jamaica. Below is the first picture of our little peanut! This picture shows the baby at 6 weeks and if you look REALLY hard, that little dot is our baby!

Since I was only 6 weeks at my first apt. my Dr. wanted me to come back in when I got back from Jamaica to make sure that everything was going well and that they baby was growing. We were originally scheduled to come in on July 28^th (7 days after coming back from our vacation) but we couldn’t wait so we called and scheduled an apt. for the next day after we got home. Below is our second picture at 8 weeks. We had a wonderful Nurse Practitioner that we will be with through the rest of our pregnancy (thank god) and we got to see the little flutter of the heartbeat for the first time! It was so amazing and we can’t wait to go back and see how much our little baby has grown at our 12 week apt.
